CONNECTOR HAVE ENOUGH BITE?
Ease of Installation: There are no special tools of cable stripping
required. The installation simply involves the insertion of the jacketed secondary cable into
the cable entry port and tightening of the shear-head bolt with a 1/2", 6
point socket.
Connection Quality: Our unique double shear-head bolt ensures connection quality and the correct
tightening torque without the use of a torque wrench guaranteeing a perfect
connection every time. This feature eliminates the possibility of hot
spots, damaged wires or loose connections.
Safety:The Piranha features a completely rubber overmolded body and fully insulated
shear-head bolts. There is no need for the installer to come into contact
with bare metal conductor or the conductive material of the connector.
Corrosion Resistance:The Piranha is the only completely waterproof connector currently
available. The combination of long flexible cable joints and end caps for
unused ports ensure that the connection is waterproof with the proper
installation. This fully submersible product is perfect for direct burial,
vault and pedestal applications.
